After a few months of inactivity and a lot of cleaning up, Second to None is now ready to take on new challenges in the Icecrown Citadel. We’ll be needing a lot of new members and this time we won't tolerate any unreliability or lack of skill. We’re aiming high and if you do the same we suggest that you check out our Recruitment Forum.
The Second to None Philosophy
In Second to None we strive to compete with the top guilds of Kazzak in killing bosses first. This is of course a long term goal, which requires a lot of hard work and dedication from all members and especially from the officer team who continuously will be recruiting new people, testing them and sorting out those who didn't meet the expectation.
With this ambitious goal we have to focus on bringing the people we think is best suited for every raid, giving us the best chance of accomplishing and maintaining this dream of ours. The best suited people are decided by a general impression of each player, but the qualities we value highest are amongst these:
- Skill (How well a player handles his/her character in raids. How much damage/healing is he/she doing
wcompared to the rest of the raid? Is he/she making a lot of mistakes? And does he/she learn from them?)
- Reliability (Raid attendance and punctuality)
- Personality (How well does the player handle criticism? Does he/she cause drama over egoistic issues like
loot, raid spots, etc?)
When progressing through end-game content, the individual skill level of each player is what determines a victory from failure. This is why we believe that skill is far more important than gear, when recruiting new members.
